Learn how a library media specialist and a classroom teacher collaborated to incorporate various digital and hands-on activities into the curriculum to increase student engagement. These included making escape rooms, comic books, board games, children’s picture books, documentary films, and historical monuments. Students utilized 3D printing, Google apps, makerspace materials, video production tools, such as green screen and stop motion animation, and escape room puzzles, including morse code, cipher wheels, brain teasers, etc. We will share how we created these activities, using little to no funding. We will share our tips, successes, frustrations, and and future plans.
