For all my yarnlovers! Join in to make the LUMI smile (french) mascot, a simple white square with a black border and a smile:) This cute project idea comes from
KnitaSmile.com and very similar to the Flat Stanley idea where you can take LUMI on your daily activities, snap a photo and share with the community!
- 👍🏽Grab any white and black yarn you have -- a crochet hook or knitting needles that match your yarn size. (Don't have white or black, just use your stash yarn- any colors will really do!)
- 🧶Knit or crochet a square using basic stitches: Crochet ( single crochet stitch) or Knit (garter stitch)
TUTORIAL HERE! - 🔲Embroider or Picot Stitch a black border all the way around the square
- 🧵Sew the eyes and mouth with black wool thread.
- 🌎Now take Lumi with you on your adventures or something you do in your daily life, snap a photo and share on social media (#lumismile #lumioftheday and #knitasmile)
