Medfield's Design Your Learning Day 2021

Join this interactive session to see how visualizing and facilitating your thinking with a pencil, some paper, and the frameworks of a compass can lead you and your students to establish a habit of life that will keep thinking flexible and moving forward while supporting the voices of all learners in being heard.

Co-teaching can be daunting!  How can you bring two different people together and make it work for your students! After three years of co-teaching we can talk you through the highs and lows of what to expect. 

This workshop will explore how to use various free tech tools to meet the needs of ELLs and students with language-based disabilities. Participants will gain knowledge of how to use various websites, Google Chrome extensions, and iOS apps to remove barriers to student learning for all content areas. No technology budgets and/or instructional support budgets were harmed in the making of this presentation!

This session will focus on specific strategies, including retrieval practice, that help to solidify information into long-term memory. Come gain background information regarding the brain and how it works as well as practical strategies to take away and use with your students in the classroom.
